FREE Irish Crochet Skull Doily Instructions

I have super something special for you all today! My awesome grandma, Sally, has gifted me a pattern for this beautiful Irish Crochet Skull Doily and given me the go-ahead to give it to you all for FREE!

I love this pattern because it kind of reminds me of the Victorians who were kind of the OG spooky people. They were super obsessed with death and created a lot of beautiful, macabre items. They even sent one another Christmas cards with illustrations of dead birds on them. Metal AF.

She Knows Her Stuff

I talked about my grandma on a previous post and how she used to work at Leewards as the creative director so you can be sure she knows her crafts. A few years ago she got into Irish Crochet, especially Irish Rose Doilies. She had so much fun with it that she started creating her own unique patterns.

Grandma has attempted to teach me how to crochet I don’t know how many times. I never gotten past making a really long single line. I do have to admit that it’s a super relaxing hobby.

Questions?

Now I have to admit that I will be absolutely no help with the Irish Crochet Skull Doily project, but if you have any problems or questions I would be happy to pass them along to her and get back to you as soon as I possibly can with the answers. You can contact me at any time by emailing michelle@frightathome.com or messaging me on my facebook page here.

My House Panther, Tweak, came to see what I was up to.
